About Golden Homes
Mark Golden has been building homes in Bryan–College Station since 1998. Golden Homes Inc. was built around a simple idea: the homeowner should work directly with the person responsible for their home.
That means Mark helps draw up and refine your plans, stays on the job site throughout construction and walks the finished home with you. You aren't handing your project to a company and hoping it works out — you have a builder who is directly involved and accountable.

A direct point of contact instead of decisions passed through layers of management.
You should never have to wonder what is happening with your home.
Plans, site, materials and decisions evaluated before they become expensive problems.
Building with Brazos Valley land, climate and communities since 1998.
Our building process
We learn about your property (or the land you're considering), your lifestyle, budget and timeline, and the kind of home you want. This is where we pinpoint what the home needs to do for you.
Mark oversees the drafting phase — elevations, rooflines, materials and dimensions — so every structural detail is decided before the foundation is poured. You receive a detailed cost breakdown, and site considerations are worked into the plan.
From groundwork and framing to finishes, Mark coordinates the trades and is on site regularly. You're kept informed as the build moves forward, and any change is explained — including its effect on schedule and budget — before it's made.
Before completion we review the finished work together and make sure the details are addressed. Then you get your keys.
“It's rare to hear of a friendship being forged during the homebuilding process between the builder and the homeowners, but that's exactly what happened for us.”
